A MOTHER-of-three killed herself after years battling alcohol problems, an inquest heard.
Jenny King, 49, was found dead by police after taking an overdose of prescription drugs at home in Provene Gardens, Waltham Chase, near Fareham.
The inquest heard her alcohol problems led to her losing custody of two children to ex-partner Paul King while her eldest daughter from another relationship lived in Germany.
Medical evidence also revealed she suffered from epilepsy, anxiety and depression.
She was found in April, 2013 after neighbours raised concerns about her welfare.
Coroner Grahame Short recorded a verdict of suicide.
He said: “I find that from all reports she was intelligent and capable but when she went on drinking binges her behaviour was unpredictable.”
Speaking after the inquest, Mr King, of Fareham, described her as a “wonderful mother”.
