Motorists in Hampshire are facing delays after one lane of the M3, just north of the M27 near Eastleigh, was closed following a heavy goods vehicle fire.
The incident happened at about 8.45pm when the truck, carrying fish from the Netherlands, caught fire.
Emergency services were called to the scene and found the cab section of the vehicle alight.
There was no damage to the truck itself and the driver escaped unharmed.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokeswoman confirmed that the fire was out within an hour and that the carriegeway would be reopened as soon as possible.
