SOUTHAMPTON law firm Lester Aldridge has signed up to a new charter that promotes ethical and professional marketing practices in the personal injury sector.
The new industry-led initiative aims to stamp out bad practice by rogue operators, including cold calling, and ensure that consumers are more adequately protected.
Signatories to the Ethical Marketing Charter will shun nuisance marketing, misleading advertising and the unethical buying and selling of accident data.
The charter is a reaction to has been developed in response to the growth in cold calling and data trading of data personal information.
