MORE than 30 years after Britain’s answer to Elvis passed away his band is set to pay tribute to him with an electric and emotional performance.
Halfway to Paradise: The Billy Fury Story sees the original Fury’s Tornados replay his timeless hits live, including Last Night Was Made for Love, I Will, Jealousy, Halfway to Paradise and many more.
The band will play below a giant screen showing videos of the singer and band playing together.
Billy Fury died 31 years ago.
Colin Gold, pictured, recreates Fury in a performance which has been billed as “sensational”.
Lisa Voice, Billy’s long-term partner, introduces the gig on-screen.
Halfway to Paradise: The Billy Fury Story is at The Haymarket in Basingstoke at 7.30pm on Saturday, February 28.
