It was with little surprise that I read the letter from the Labour MP for Hendon (Labour working to address community mast concerns', Times Letters, January 5).
In the letter, he attacked my condemnation of the erection of telephone masts and their potential danger.
Unlike him, I was born here and have lived here all my life.
I have a family and two small children and I am concerned for their safety and as well as that of others.
Listening to him, we might forget that we have a Labour council and Labour MP and Labour Government the latter for nearly four years and yet he still blames the previous Conservative Government for his ineffectiveness to curtail the erection of these potentially highly dangerous and unsightly masts.
This is yet another instance of blaming the previous Government for having himself achieved nothing.
