A POLICE investigation has been launched after the discovery of a body in a harbour today.
It was launched after the body was found in Ryde Harbour on the Isle of Wight at 12.23pm
The man's body has not yet been formally identified.
A spokesman said that a post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the cause of death.
Officers are not treating the death as suspicious. They are trying to contact the dead man's next of kin.
