HAMPSHIRE residents are being urged to clear their clutter and help youngsters fight cancer.
Children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent needs people to dig deep and get behind their Restock Our Shop campaign.
The charity has shops on Southampton’s High Street and Market Street, Eastleigh, which are in desperate need of quality donations.
Clair Jones, from CLIC Sargent, said: “Our shops desperately need donations of clothing and textiles, jewellery and accessories, books, DVDs, china and bric-a-brac. All people need to do is bag up their unwanted items and drop them into their local CLIC Sargent shop.”
Ten bags of donated clothing could pay for a wheelchair for use in one of the charity’s Homes from Home, so children who are weak can spend time with their family while they’re having treatment in Southampton General Hospital.
