A fire engulfed two caravans in Hampshire this morning.
Crews from Eastleigh, Winchester and Basingstoke were called out to deal with the blaze at a catering site in Chapel Lane, near Winchester, at around 8.46am.
One of the caravans was completely destroyed by the fire, which lasted for more than two hours.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said two males, aged 37 and 26, were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
One of the men was taken to hospital by ambulance but his injuries were not serious.
The spokesperson added that the large response was sent because it was feared the fire could spread to nearby gas containers, although they were removed safely.
The spokesman said: “It is standard procedure to send a large response if there are hazardous materials involved and we had reports of gas cylinders but luckily they have been removed and the response has been scaled back."
An investigation has been launched into the cause fo the fire.
