A HAMPSHIRE actress will be starring in a new series of novels which will be broadcast online.
Jessica Sargent who lives in North Baddesley will play the lead role of Allie Sheridan in Night School the Web Series.
The series which will be produced by Trailermade Films will be brought to life on YouTube.
The story focuses on Allie who was sent away to boarding school as punishment after being arrested for the third time. Once there, she finds that everything is not what it seems.
The series are based on the books written by CJ Daugherty; they have been a global success and translated into more than 22 languages.
Some of the filming for the web series will take place at Barton Peveril College in Eastleigh, where Jessica was a student.
The 22-year-old actress is hoping that the web series will help launch her career.
Jessica said: “‘I couldn’t resist the opportunity to bring Allie to life.
“I’m a massive fan of the books and have really fallen in love with her. She’s such a complex character who’s full of fire, compassion and internal conflict so I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into the role.”
