A SOUTHAMPTON casino is hoping to capitalise on a blockbuster fight that is set to be watched by millions across the world.
Genting Club manager Will Cotton (pictured below) is set to bring a touch of Las Vegas to the city for Floyd Mayweather Jr’s £250m welterweight unification showdown with Manny Pacquiao on May 3.
Will said: “It’s the biggest fight for 40 years and our venue can add to that big night atmosphere, providing an opportunity for our customers to enjoy it.
“We’ll also create a special VIP area in the restaurant, lay on full English breakfasts and really make it memorable.”
Will is looking forward to putting on more events at the Genting Club in Terminus Terrace.
He added: “I am excited about my new role and am looking forward to getting to know the community and to develop closer ties with local businesses.
“We have great facilities here in a lovely historic building. I want to raise our profile as a social and leisure destination.”
