A fire is causing major rush hour delays on a Hampshire motorway this morning.
The van fire blocked two lanes of the M27 and caused traffic queues.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene.
The incident happened on the M27 Westbound a mile before Junction 5 for the A335 Wide Lane and A335 Stoneham Way / Stoneham Lane for Southampton Airport and Eastleigh.
Crews from Eastleigh and Hightown were called to the blaze around 6.30am.
A spokeswoman for Eastleigh fire station said: “Our crew has just got back to the station after helping at the scene.
“We were called to reports of a van fire.”
A team of four firefighters from Hightown were at the scene making sure it is safe and a highways maintenance vehicle is trying to ease traffic.
