AN inquest has opened into the death of a Hampshire woman who died after being hit by a train at Micheldever Station.
Winchester Coroner’s Court has opened the inquest into the death of Anna Masson, 67, from Sutton Scotney near Winchester.
Ms Masson died when she was hit by the train at Micheldever Station on Tuesday morning just before 9.45am.
She was a director of the Boaz Project at Hill Farm in Sutton Scotney.
The horticulture-based charity was established in 2007 to provide a day centre where adults with learning disabilities could grow plants, care for animals, learn to cook and develop craft and woodworking skills.
Ms Masson was also a director at Wessex Fertility Ltd, based in Southampton, from 2004 to 2007.
The inquest has been adjourned to March 14
