Fire crews tackle large barn fire
FIRE crews have tackled a large fire at a barn in Hampshire this morning.
Crews from Winchester, Stockbridge and Basingstoke were initially called to the barn in Abbotstone Road, Abbotstone near Alresford at 4.05am.
Crews were still on the scene at 10.30am this morning with much of the barn, which is used to store hay, damaged by the blaze.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
