A MOTORCYCLIST suffered severe injuries after being caught in a hit and run crash which also involved a tractor.
The 58-year-old male rider is hospital with “life changing” injuries after the crash on the B3035 Corhampton Down near Bishops Waltham.
Now police have made an appeal for one of the motorists who failed to stop at the scene of the crash to contact them immediately.
They are hunting the driver of a red 2015 Kia Cee’d which was travelling southbound and is believed to have collided with the motorcyclist who was travelling northbound.
The car driver failed to stop at the scene.
The crash occurred as a tractor was pulling out of a nearby field at 3pm on Wednesday, April 13, but police have only today released any details of the incident.
PC Phil Robertson said: “We’re keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information relating to the driver of the red Kia.
“We’d also like to hear from anyone who may have been asked to repair the bodywork of a 2015 red Kia cee’d since Wednesday.”
Although the biker has suffered life changing injuries, his condition is described as stable.
Anyone with information should contact PC Robertson at Havant police station on 101.
