COMMON People festival in Southampton stormed into life on the first day of music.
Public Enemy, Primal Scream and Ghostpoet were among the highlights before the city's own Craig David capped off the night.
The likes of Duran Duran and Katy B will appear on The Common on Sunday night.
They feature on the bill alongside local acts like Wild Front, who opened the festival less than a year after forming.
There will also be arts and crafts, food and what is claimed to be the world's biggest bouncy castle.
