EIGHTIES icons helped bring a Hampshire festival to life.
Graze Festival in Twyford saw more than 2,000 people gather where they enjoyed acts like The Beat and Toyah.
Rock 'n’ roll singer John Otway was also a performer at the event where people also danced to music by Flight Brigade, Polly and the Billets and The Lucky Strikes.
Also appearing were Robert Vincent, Rews, Lilo’s Wall, Southampton Ukulele Jam, DJ Super Kat and Luna Rivers.
This year there was a dedicated kids’ area and families enjoyed food by Hampshire Fare Kitchen.
The event, which is in its second year, will raise funds for Colden Common Church, Twyford St Mary’s Parent Teacher Association, Colden Common Scouts, Ballard Close, Twyford Playgroup, Superscapes, Twyford Guides, Twyford Brownies and Twyford Parish Hall.
A spokesman for Graze said: “There were lots of little improvements made last year based on customer feedback. We had more bands, more kids’ activities and a better variety of food.”
The spokesman said the festival is set to raise as much or more as it did last year, when it raised £12,000 which was donated to local groups in the area.
