HE has been writing since he was a child in South Africa and counts a meeting with Nelson Mandela as one of his major inspirations.
Hampshire poet and hip-hop performer Jamie "Risky" Radcliffe, is the latest reader to enter the Daily Echo's search for Hampshire's Top Talent.
The 25-year-old who lives in Chandler's Ford was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in South Africa before moving to England after school. Reciting one of his own poems as his entry, Jamie tackles issues of drugs and poverty and questions the direction of the world while always looking for a positive outcome for people.
"Meeting Nelson Mandela was actually quite weird, but an inspiring experience," he said, recounting a time in his childhood when he met the former South African president and anti-aparthied leader.
Jamie can also be seen compering at this Saturday's K2 Urban Youth Festival in Southampton's Hoglands Park, which gives youngsters an opportunity to showcase their creative music and dance talents.
