Emeregncy services rushed to reports of a man lying “completely unresponsive” under a tree in Southampton.
The man was spotted by crews from Redbrige fire station, who were returning from a call-out in Lordshill.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 5.30pm to reports of a medical emergency. An ambulance crew treated the patient at the scene."
He has since been taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
The ambulance spokesman was unable to give any more details on the man's condition.
