Firefighters rushed to tackle a blaze after an explosion at a Hampshire electricity station.
Three crews tackled the flames at the sub-station in Hartlands Road, in Fareham just after noon today.
The flames were tackled by engines from Fareham Southsea and Portchester before an electrical engineer attended the scene to inspect the damage.
The cause of the explosion is currently unknown.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “A car in the adjacent car park was also damaged, though no-one is thought to have been injured.”
Firefighters battled the blaze for 40 minutes.
