A Spitfire has crashed during take off at French airshow, according to reports.
Video has emerged of the iconic World War II aircraft flipping over infront of horrified crowds.
As the plane prepered for take off it appears the propeller struck the ground at the Longuyon-Villette show, in northern France.
It has been reported that a woman and the pilot were injured in the incident.
The iconic Spitfire was built at the factory in Woolston during the late 1930s and early 1940s, and the first Spitfire to take to the skies flew from Southampton Airport.
