A CAR erupted into flame last night in Southampton.
The vehicle fire also caused damage to a home, two other vehicles, and a large holly tree.
Firefighters were called to a blaze in Testwood Road, Freemantle at approximately 1.30am this morning to reports of a car being on fire.
A crew from Redbridge Fire Station attended the fire, which completely destroyed one car and damaged two others.
It also caused minor damage to a property adjacent to the car fire.
Fire crews used one hose reel jet, one main jet and breathing apparatus to control and extinguish the blaze.
A spokesperson from Redbridge Fire Station said police were investigating the cause of the fire.
