An old bomb has been found in a Hampshire village this evening.
Police are working with bomb disposal units after the discovery of the explosive device near Winchester.
A controlled explosion took place earlier by members of the disposal units after the discovery of the bomb was made in Crawley.

It comes just weeks after an unexploded wartime bomb was found on the coast of Warsash.
Earlier this month, Hillhead Coastguard had been alerted to the scene by a member of the public who found the shell on the ground, with disposal officers from the Royal Navy called.
