Hundreds of people gathered in Southampton today to take part in a rally to 'save the NHS'.
Members of Unite union joined campaigners from the city to 'fight back, not cut back'.
Members of the public waved flags and signed petitions in opposition to the government's plans with the National Health Service.
Organiser David Smith, said: "Our message is clear, yes, but it's about spreading that to the general public and getting it out there.
"You can see how many people care because of how many people are here.
"We have to fightback, not have even more cutbacks to a service that used to be the envy of the world."
