A FIRE broke out in a Southampton neighbourhood in the early hours of this morning.
The incident in Teme Crescent reportedly happened at about 1.30am and destroyed a vehicle parked in front of a house.
Police are at the scene this morning and the area is cordoned off.
Edwina Rankin, 68, who lives nearby, said: "It was horrendous.
"The fire was massive. My dog woke me up and I phoned the police instead of the fire by mistake.
"I was in such a panic. I was screaming at them to get out but they had got out the back door. All you could hear was the windows going.
"The fire brigade were really quick and brilliant."
