FIREFIGHTERS rushed to a "severe" blaze on a busy Hampshire road last night.
A Volkswagen Golf was alight on the A326 in-between the two junctions for Jacob's Gutter Lane, near the Marchwood bypass.
No-one was injured in the incident.
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "We were called 3.58pm to Volkswagen Golf that was severely on fire.
"A crew from Redbridge arrived at the scene at 4.09pm, and the stop message came at 4.55pm."
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
