FIREFIGHTERS were called after a car burst into flames in a McDonald's drive thru.
Crews from Romsey and Redbridge were called to the restaurant at the Ower service station at 12.26pm today following the incident.
The building itself and nearby fencing were badly damaged, while the car itself was destroyed.
A witness at the scene wrote on social media wrote: "Car fire at McDonald's.
"Hope everyone's OK."
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue statement said: "A crew saw smoke in the distance en route and requested a second pump from Romsey to attend."
There were no reports of any injuries.
