THIS is the dramatic moment when a lorry burst into flames on a Hampshire road.
A lorry driver escaped uninjured from the blaze that blocked the road while firefighters dealt with the flames.
Crews from across the county were called to the scene as-the fire has since spread to a nearby bus stop.
Among the firefighters at the scene were from Whitchurch and Andover.
The incident the white MAN lorry at the junction between the B3400 and B3048 in Hurstbourne Priors near Andover.
It was was at 12.38pm and the road is currently still closed.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident and it is believed that the lorry was not carrying anything hazardous.
A South Central Ambulance Service crew was alerted to the incident.
They remained on standy at the scene, but in the end were not required as there were no injuries.
The B3400 remains closed in both directions and is expected to be closed for several more hours.
