The M3 between junction 12 and 13 southbound.
MOTORISTS are experiencing delays after a car fire on the M3.
Police were called at 4.13pm this afternoon the a car fire on the hardshoulder on the M3 between junction 12 and 13 near Eastleigh.
One lane of the M3 heading southbound has been closed and there is a reported 50 minute delay from junction 9.
Police told the Daily Echo that the occupants of the car were able to exit the vehicle safely and no one has been hurt.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service are also in attendance.
