EMERGENCY services rushed to a car fire in the early hours of this morning.
Fire crews were called to Waldegrave Close in Weston, Southampton at 3.18am on Sunday to a single vehicle fire.
It was reported that the car was 75 per cent damaged by fire and crews used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus to control the blaze.
Police also attended the incident.
One resident of the Close said: "I was woken up at around 3am and heard 'bang, bang, banging'.
"I looked out the window and saw the car was on fire, I called the fire crews immediately.
"The whole car was on fire, but I don't know what caused it."
A spokesperson from Hampshire Fire and Rescue said: "Crews were called at 3.18am to a single vehicle fire.
"All other details of the incident are with the police."
The Daily Echo contacted Hampshire Police who are yet to respond.
It comes just days after a car fire on Ashurst Close in Weston.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue said it received numerous calls to a car on fire at Ashurst Close in Weston, Southampton, in the early hours of October 2.
The fire, which according to firefighters left a Vauxhall Astra "severely damaged", was reported just after midnight.
Two fire engine crews from Hightown rushed to the scene to put out the fire.
Multiple residents said they heard a loud bang during the night before seeing the car parked along the street in flames.
