A HAMPSHIRE school has confirmed a positive case of coronavirus.
A pupil at the Mountbatten School in Romsey, Hampshire has tested positive for covid-19
The child is reported to be in Y11.
A post from the school's Twitter account yesterday confirmed the case.
It also said that parents would be given more details later today (Thursday).
The message on Twitter said: "We have had a confirmed COVID-19 case today in Y11.
"Senior staff have spoken to parents of all children directly affected this afternoon and more detailed information will be shared with all parents tomorrow.
"Thank you to our wonderful community of parents for your support."
It comes as cases of the virus have been confirmed at three separate schools in the last two days.

A student from Thornden School in Chandler's Ford tested positive on Tuesday.
A pupil at Hounsdown School in Totton has also tested positive - confirmed by Hampshire County Council on October 5.
Meanwhile, the Westgate School in Winchester has reported a single case and remains open.
