A HAMPSHIRE school has confirmed another positive case of coronavirus.
A Year 11 student from The Romsey School, Greatbridge Road, tested positive for COVID-19, according to a letter to parents.
Executive teacher of the school, Jonathan de Sausmarez, stressed to parents the case is "separate to the previous cases and involves a student on a part-time timetable", adding "there is no connection between any of the cases within the school".
Five pupils in Year 11 have now been asked to self-isolate, due to the student being on the site for a limited time.
Mr de Sausmarez added: "Rest assured we are following all DfE advice and will be further in contact with the Health Protection Team.
"To date, none of those students who have been asked to self-isolate have tested positive or picked up the infection in school."
This comes after The Romsey School confirmed two, unrelated, positive cases of coronavirus in September.
