FIREFIGHTERS have rushed to a roundabout in a Hampshire village to tackle a vehicle fire.
Yesterday, at 2.25pm, firefighters were called to a vehicle which had caught fire on Winchester Road near Boorley Park.
The vehicle, which was located on a roundabout, was said to be "well alight" when crews arrived and was "destroyed" in the blaze
It was later extinguished by firefighters from Botley using two breathing apparatus and two jets.
All people were out of the vehicle at the time and safe from the fire.
Fire crews left the scene at 3.21 pm and handed the incident over to Hampshire police whilst they waited for the vehicle to be recovered.
