YOU would be forgiven for thinking you were on holiday abroad when you take a seat in this Hampshire pub garden.
That's the view of Kirsty Williams, the licensee of The Anchor Inn in Eling.
Kirsty, who has been at the pub for two and a half years, told the Daily Echo: "We're set on the waterfront of Eling Quay, next to the historic tide mill.
"It's the best location in Totton and just like being on holiday abroad."

The pub's delightful beer garden overlooking the water also boasts a heated undercover area.
Customers flock to The Anchor for their famous cocktails and sangria, as well as a great selection of real ales and gins.
They also enjoy home cooked tapas, pub classics like lasagne, burgers and steaks and Sunday lunches, which can be enjoyed to the sounds of live chilled music every Sunday from 3.30pm.
The Anchor has enjoyed a complete refurbishment during lockdown and returning customers have been surprised by all the work undertaken to give the pub its own unique updated identity.
Kirsty says the last year and more has been a major challenge for her like all publicans, but that she still loves running the pub.
She added: "It's relentless and hard work, but the people and giving people an enjoyable experience make it worth it."
It is believed The Anchor was once a morgue for people who died at sea, but it was certainly a pub by the early part of the 20th century as it was the last stopover for some of Titanic's crew before setting sail on their ill-fated voyage in 1912.
The eldest son of the pub's landlord and landlady at the time, 'Boysie' Richard Russell lost his life on the 'unsinkable' ship after signing up as a steward at the tender age of 17.
At that time, New Forest drovers would drive their animals across the bridge to market and the rural community would “drop anchor” at The Anchor for refreshment.
