IT COULD have been a huge disaster.
But Hampshire fire crews heroically put a stop to this shocking incident on a motorway in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters were called to a fuel tanker travelling on the M3 Southbound, which was engulfed by a rapidly-growing fire.
Using two hose reel jets, crews from Yateley, Rushmoor and Fleet managed to extinguish the blaze.
