THIS shocking photo shows the aftermath of a vehicle fire that halted motorway traffic.
One person suffered from smoke inhalation in the incident on the M3, which was reported to emergency services shortly before midday.
Two crews of firefighters tackled the blaze on the southbound carriageway between Junction 8 and 9.
The route was closed and long queues of vehicles were reported for more than an hour.

"HIWFRS performed immediate emergency care on one casualty suffering from smoke inhalation, before he was handed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service paramedics," said a Hampshire Fire Service spokesperson.
"A recovery company removed the vehicle after the fire had been stopped using hose reels.
"The stop message came in at 12.34."
