A HORSE has died after being hit by a car on a road in the New Forest.
The collision occurred yesterday (December 7) on Roger Penny Way.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "We were called out at just before 6pm yesterday evening (December) following reports of a collision between a vehicle and a horse on Roger Penny Way.
"The horse was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"The driver was spoken to at the scene by officers and a decision made that no offences had been committed."
