POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an elderly man was found injured in a Southampton street.

The victim, who was in his 70s, was discovered outside a property in Summit Way between 9pm and 9.30pm on Friday, January 13.

A police spokesman said the pensioner had suffered minor injuries.

"We are aware that the injured man was taken back to his home address by a passer-by and then informed the family of the man’s injuries.

"If this was you, or if you have any information in relation to this incident, we would implore you to come forward and report it to the police."
