Plumes of smoke were seen billowing over Southampton's skyline this afternoon - and this is why.
Thick clouds of black smoke filled the sky over Weston after a car caught on fire.
Fire crews from Hightown raced to the scene at the junction of Archery Road and Weston Lane.
The blaze was extinguished and crews left the area after 4.30pm.

Smoke has also been spotted across the water by city residents today.
However, this is nothing to be concerned about.
Flares have been lit at Fawley oil refinery to "safely manage a process interruption."
The oil firm said its team is "working hard to minimise any disruption."
