A CRASH which killed three people on the A303 has been branded a "catastrophic loss of life" after a lorry driver was jailed.
Michal Kopaniarz was jailed for 12 years on Friday after he used his phone moments before the crash in August 2021.
Tina Ince, 58, and Thomas Watson, 30, both from Southampton died alongside Alexandra Britton.
The three victims died instantly after Kopaniarz failed to slow whilst they stood in the carriageway, trying to move a broken-down Vauxhall Astra.

Speaking after the sentencing, Detective Constable Cate Paling described the incident as a "catastrophic loss of life".
She added that the "devastating consequences of his selfish actions have torn three families apart".
"I hope other drivers, who think there is no harm in using their phone while driving will consider the case and learn from it."
Kopaniarz was also disqualified from driving for ten years with an extra six added on for his time in custody.
