Searching for houses in Romsey, like much of the UK, can be quite a tricky task, especially with house prices almost continually on the rise.

You might wonder what the cheapest property is that you can buy in the area, excluding options such as shared ownership or a retirement property.

If you're looking for a property on the lowest end of the price scale in the Romsey area, then Zoopla may have an option for you.

A two-bedroom apartment on Winchester Road is listed on Zoopla for £199,950 and is described as "beautifully presented".

On its Zoopla page, it says: "We are delighted to be offering for sale this beautifully presented apartment forming part of this period property within Romsey.

"Arranged over two floors the accommodation comprises, two bedrooms, sitting room, kitchen, utility room, bathroom."

You enter the property through a small gated courtyard and then a door opens into a conservatory/porch/utility area.

Next to the kitchen is a small, but modern contemporary bathroom, and from the other side of the kitchen is a hall with a staircase leading to the first floor.

Up here you can find the two bedrooms, both of which are doubles. One of the bedrooms also benefits from a fitted wardrobe.
