A man is standing trial accused of raping a teenage girl in the back of his van.
Denis Kadena is alleged to have sexually assaulted the teen after he ‘tricked’ her into his vehicle, jurors at Southampton Crown Court heard.
The alleged attack took place in the Totton area last September, his trial was told on Monday.
Prosecuting, Simon Jones said Kadena, 33, had ‘driven her to a secluded area’ where he ‘attacked’ her, all while she was meant to be at school.

Mr Jones said: “He was a stranger to her.
“A white van pulled up to her and the defendant said he wanted to talk to her.
“She was wearing, and there’s no dispute, her school uniform.
“He told her he knew (an adult) and that he would give her a lift.
“The defendant was prepared to lie in order to entice a young girl into a van.”

Jurors heard how he drove the teenager to a ‘secluded country lane.’
He then ‘started touching her’ and he ‘stroked her thigh... over the shorts she was wearing under her skirt.’
Mr Jones said: “She was in an extremely vulnerable situation.
“She was with a man she never met before and he had driven her to an extremely isolated location.”
He then told the court how he drove the van around the corner and asked the complainant to ‘help him’ with something in the back of the van.
Mr Jones said: “He asked the victim to help him with the back of his van, but in reality, this was the defendant taking advantage of a young girl.

Mr Jones told the court how, during her police interview, the complainant said ‘it just felt wrong.’
She also said the defendant ‘winked at me’ as he drove past, before stopping and offering her a lift.
Kadena, of Yorke Street in Southsea, denies two charges of rape and one charge of sexual assault.
The trial continues.
