A second cruise has been cancelled as works to repair a technical fault aboard Queen Mary 2 continue.
Cunard’s flagship ocean liner was due to depart for New York on Sunday but the voyage had to be cancelled due to a technical issue.
As yesterday's transatlantic crossing could not go ahead, the return voyage has now been cancelled too.

A Cunard spokesperson said: "Cunard has advised that due to a technical issue which needs to be resolved prior to sailing voyage M310/A on Queen Mary 2 to New York has been cancelled. As a result of this, voyage M311/A from New York has also been cancelled.
"Our customer care team and travel agent partners have been liaising with impacted guests and we are doing everything possible to provide support and make alternative travel arrangements.
"All guests will receive a full refund and a Future Cruise Credit of 20% of monies paid. This may be used on any future booking booked prior to 23rd April 2025.
"We apologise to all guests affected by this cancellation."
ABP, the company which runs the port, says the ship won't be able to depart until "technical issues are rectified".
A spokesperson said: "The QM2 will have an extended stay in port until its technical issues are rectified.
"We are working with Cunard to establish a plan to continue our operations and support the safe sail of the ship."
Around 2,000 passengers had their holidays scuppered after being told the ship would not be leaving the port just two hours before they were due to embark.
They include a couple who had travelled to Southampton from Paris, a couple who had been due to return home to New York and a Hampshire woman who had been looking forward to her first cruise.

Queen Mary 2 arrived into port ahead of schedule on Saturday night.
In an email to passengers the next morning, a Cunard spokesperson said: “Queen Mary 2 arrived into Southampton late last night for assessment of a technical issue.
“Unfortunately, after further investigation, it has been confirmed that this work will take longer to resolve than anticipated and the ship is unable to sail until this is completed.”
