THIS 17th century Forest pub has reopened following an extensive two-month refurbishment with a stunning new look. 

The High Corner Inn at Linwood has been reimagined by owners Butcombe Pubs & Inns, who describe it as the 'gateway to the New Forest'.

The transformation has retained much of the character of the historic building while transforming the décor for the 21st century.

Using a colour palette of greens and deep reds on the walls and upholstery, replicating the colours of the forest outside, botanical wallpaper features alongside Chesterfield sofas, oversized rugs, trunk coffee tables and a variety of new furniture.

The walls are adorned with tasteful curios and artwork, lit by chandeliers and statement wall and pendant fittings. The bar has been relocated but the design team has reused the original, much-loved carved bar frontage.

A new private dining room with its own private outside area has also been added, making The High Corner Inn a great destination for weddings and special occasions.

All seven guest rooms and ensuite bathrooms have been completely remodelled with everything you need for a luxurious night’s stay.

The landscapers and gardeners have been busy in the large garden, building a new paved area with booth seating and raised planters. Children are kept amused with their own play area.

Foodies will love the menu full of Butcombe’s award-winning food offering, celebrating locally sourced produce, seasonal ingredients and featuring elevated pub classics with a twist.

At the bar, guests will be able to enjoy a wide range of Butcombe Brewing Co’s ever-popular beers, lager and cider, a beautifully curated wine list, premium spirits and a great selection of cocktails.
