Fans of TV quiz The Chase had the chance to 'Beat The Beast' during a charity event at a Hampshire pub.
Mark Labbett, the notorious chaser known as The Beast from the TV hit, and his girlfriend Hayley Palmer, who grew up in Fareham, hosted the sold out quiz night at The Titchfield Mill.
After selling out in just 20 minutes, lucky ticket holders enjoyed a twist on the pub's usual monthly charity quiz night, raising around £2,000 for RSPCA Stubbington Ark, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and Hamble Lifeboat.

Mark acted as quiz master while Hayley, a TV presenter in her own right who presents weekly music chat shows on Sky TV 365 and a segment on GB News, hosted a local knowledge round.
Hayley, who attended Neville Lovett School, now Fareham Academy, told the Daily Echo: "It was organised superbly by the Titchfield Mill. Everybody came together to see if they could Beat the Beast!”
Mark and Hayley met at the National Television Awards 2022 and they realised they both had the same agent.
Clearly both pub and quiz fans, Hayley said Mark's way of breaking the ice was by showing his pride and joy - a Toby Carvery gold card.
Hayley promptly responded by claiming she could beat him in an 80s themed music quiz. She was no match for Mark’s incredible knowledge of songs from the decade that fashion forgot, but the pair soon fell in love.
The Solent branch of the RSPCA, known as Stubbington Ark, is a self-funded charity with the purpose of rehoming displaced animals. They also provide welfare veterinary work, rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife; work experience placements and help and advice on all aspects of animal welfare.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced critical care team to sick and injured people when they need it most.
Hamble Lifeboat is an independent lifeboat service saving lives since 1968.
The event was a huge success and it's hoped there may be a repeat in future.
