A group of six privately-owned New Forest hotels is under new management.
New Forest Collection, a family owned company which has acquired Burley Manor, Moorhill House, Bartley Lodge, Forest Lodge, Beaulieu Inn and The Drift over the past 40 years, has partnered with a hospitality management company.
The hotels were up for sale as a collection until the opportunity arose to team up with Rockingham Partners and their seasoned industry veterans Mike Lashmar and Simon Maguire.

Plans are now in place to revitalise the interior of each property and further invest in the hotels, starting with the reopening of Moorhill House in Burley with a new design by Emily Tyers, the acclaimed interior designer behind the stunning 2015 renovation of Burley Manor.
Owners the Shammas family are optimistic about the future.
A spokesman said: "My family and I are excited about working with Rockingham. This partnership will help us cement our legacy in the New Forest with a collection that we have invested so much in over the years.”
The group will continue to dedicate itself to exceptional customer service, comfort and environmental consciousness.
Created by luxury lifestyle specialists Simon Maguire and Mike Lashmar, Rockingham brings significant experience of transforming properties.
Maguire’s proven track record includes senior roles at renowned groups like Hotel Du Vin, Harbour Hotels, and most recently, as Managing Director for Luxury Family Hotels.
He said: "We see incredible potential to build upon the New Forest Collection’s success. With exciting plans already in the pipeline, we look forward to enhancing the brand and building the team, while preserving the collection's unique charm."
Lashmar’s sharp financial acumen and commercial experience at prestigious establishments like Careys Manor, Harbour Hotels, and Luxury Family Hotels will play a pivotal role in driving profit.
"We're thrilled to be the driving force behind Mr. Shammas' vision for the New Forest Collection," Lashmar says. "We're not just about building a successful business; we're about creating a sustainable future for the collection."
Rockingham has already started to assemble a seasoned crew with a few key appointments of leaders with a proven background in prestigious hotel chains.
