A man has appeared in court following a series of thefts of sweets, chocolate, alcohol and electronic cigarettes from a Southampton Co-op store.
Zachary Charles Lowe, 36, of no fixed abode, has been charged with a number of shoplifting offences.
Police were called to the Co-op store on Bridge Road in Woolston on Saturday (April 6) at 2.23am following reports of a break-in.

It was reported that entry had been forced to the store and alcohol and electronic cigarettes were taken.
Officers attended and arrested a man, who has now been charged in connection with this incident and three others at the same store. On March 22, 26 and 30, police said confectionery to the value of £250 was taken from the shop.
Lowe was charged with one count of burglary and three counts of theft from a shop. He has also been charged with failing/refusing to provide a sample for Class A drugs testing.
Lowe appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday (April 8), where he was remanded into custody. He is next due to appear at the same court on Monday April 29.
