A man and woman from Weston have been arrested on suspicion of six shoplifting offences.
The pair were also arrested on suspicion of two burglaries, one theft of a motor vehicle, and an additional theft incident.
The incidents are believed to have taken place in West End, Hedge End, Netley, and the Southampton area.
Officers confirmed that a number of the stolen items had been recovered.

Notifying followers on Facebook, a spokesperson for Hedge End Police, said: “Last night – Thursday, April 11 – officers from Hedge End North Neighbourhood Policing Team arrested two people on suspicion of a number of offences that had occurred in the Hedge End, West End, Netley and Southampton area.
“A male and a female from the Weston area of Southampton have been arrested on suspicion of – six shopliftings, two burglaries, one theft of a motor vehicle, and one other theft incident.”
They added: “A number of items that were reported stolen during these incidents have been recovered from the address.
“Both the male and female have been remanded to appear before the next court.”
