Three employees from Hartford Care recently participated in a 42-mile charity bike ride, raising £600 for Shelter.

Lisa Sellens, Keeley Pitman, and Shane White, undertook the challenge starting from Bethel House care home, Barton on Sea.

Travelling through Bashley, Sway, Brockenhurst, Beaulieu, and stopping at West Cliff Hall in Hythe, they continued to Woodlands House in Southampton, ending their journey in Downton, Salisbury, at Ashley Grange care home.

Keeley Pitman,  Deputy Manager at Woodlands House, says: "It was a very tough day! The weather wasn’t particularly kind to us, but we ploughed on and completed the ride to support Shelter.

"The work they do has such an important impact in tackling homelessness and provides invaluable support to those in need, so we were thrilled to be able to contribute to this wonderful cause."
