As an Echo reader for 50 plus years I have lived within five miles of my life in Southampton, I’m a resident in Bassett in which I have lived since 1979. What have they done to Glen Eyre Road - it is dangerous.
There have never been any accidents, but now this road is dangerous, we have buses that seem to struggle to get through this chicane.
The potholes are getting worse!
Surely it would be more beneficial to spend the money on doing a worthwhile job - by mending the deep potholes.
Also in Glen Eyre Road, it looks so hideous - and ugly - £850,000 spent on something we never had a say and never wanted. Get rid.
