A former Indian takeaway has been replaced by a carpet shop.
Hedge End Flooring and Carpets opened to the public at Shamblehurst Centre, Hedge End, for the first time on Monday, and will provide a showroom to clients.
The new tenant was secured by Keygrove Chartered Surveyors for its clients, Forelle Estates.
The 761 square foot retail unit is complemented by other tenants including a veterinary surgery, hairdresser, pharmacy and Tesco Express.
Before being vacant for a number of months, the venue operated as Monsoon, an Indian takeaway business.
Lauren Udall of letting agents Keygrove said: “We are pleased that we have contributed to the tenant mix within this parade, there was an influx of interest from small local operators.
“This will be the second property we have let to Hedge End Flooring and Carpets who have opted for a showroom location to complement their storage unit in Solent Industrial Estate.”
